Thank you for bringing this sensitive issue to the forefront. Although your article is from an economic view point, we should not ignore the psychological and emotional ramifications of being with a spouse or significant other who is "a user". There are many more responsibilities within a household/relationship aside from "bringing home the bacon" and if a man tends to non of those, the woman is left, again, doing double work or triple work. Regardless of the economic structure of the household, both partners need to have professional goals and be supportive of each others desire to impact the world (hopefully, in a positive way). So, my advise for any woman who is in a situation where she feels used, is to get out as soon as you can, for your own mental and emotional well being.
